Some of the main issues firmly tied RE-CORD’s mission and goals are communication and promotion of know-how, dissemination of results, promotion of meeting and forums between researchers and other stakeholders, training, thus fostering and enhancing the most effective transfer of innovation and sharing of hints and results.
RE-CORD creates and takes part in conferences, workshops, meetings and events as organizer, co-organizer or coordinator, both at local and international scale.
One of the most successful and impressive events in the field of Biomass is the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) , organized yearly by the consortium member ETA Florence Renewable Energies. The Conference programme is coordinated by the European Commission Joint Research Centre. EUBCE is the leading international conference in the biomass sector combined with a technology exhibition.For more than 30 years it has been serving globally as the annual meeting point for biomass experts from research, development and the industry. The scientific and market community meet together for delivering presentations addressing the latest technologies, the policy framework and the medium and long-term strategies and potentials. EUBCE is the interface between science, industry and policy makers. The quality of the EUBCE programme is ensured by the Scientific and Industry Committee comprising more than 150 international biomass experts. In 2019 over 1,000 conference presentations were featured in the scientific programme and parallel events.
Thanks to ETA Florence’s long-term expertise, RE-CORD is therefore fully committed to establishing, developing and expanding effective network of communication and international relationships and dialogue.
